Our underwear size chart works the same way as any other size chart, which means the first step is knowing your measurements; for that, all you need is your trusty measuring tape. Remember that not all underwear charts are the same, so knowing your measurements is necessary when shopping for underwear.

Measure Waist Size

Using a flexible measuring tape, measure just under your belly button where your waistband usually hits. Keep the measuring tape flat against your body and parallel to the floor.

Measure Hip Size

This is the widest part of your butt region. Close your eyes and sensually rub your hands down your sides while imagining you’re a sexy lady. Stop and open your eyes when you get to the sumptuous curves of her hourglass figure. Those are your hips!

Measure Inseam

The inseam runs from the crotch of your underwear to the bottom of the leg. To measure, place tape along the inside leg, from the crotch seam to the opening.

If you want a snug fit: size down, and relaxed fit: size up.

Some signs that show your underwear doesn't fit:

Finger Not Sliding in the Waistband

We recommend you do the finger test. If you can slip a finger in there comfortably - meaning that the elastic is not squeezing your finger tightly to your body - then you have a good waist fit.

The Thighs Feel the Pressure

If the stitch feels like digging into your skin, riding or rolling up, it means you need to size up the present size is tight and can restrict blood flow.

It’s Just Too Snug

No, it’s not. If your privates feel stuffed constantly, and the pouch doesn't seem to adapt its shape and expand, you need to size up.

Just Adjusting the Band

If you’re constantly adjusting your waistband, as it moves around with your pants as you get up and sit, it’s loose, and you might need to size it down a bit.

Some things that you need to consider while buying underwear:

FIT

There are various styles because we have various preferences. Briefs are comfortable if you wish to have a snug fit, and trunks give better courage and comfort, whereas boxer briefs are a fusion of a fit like briefs & coverage like boxers.

Fabric

The underwear comes in all kinds of fabric, from cotton to spandex; look out for a breathable fabric that is absorbent and dries quicker, prevents bacterial growth, and is softer to your skin. Comfort is paramount.

Lifestyle

Choose a style that fits what you do, if you prefer casual clothing, briefs, trunks for formal pants & trousers, boxer briefs for a sporty fit, and boxers to lounge.

Remember that not all underwear charts are the same, so knowing your measurements is necessary when shopping for underwear.

Measure Waist Size

Measure your waist by bending to one side, and mentally note where your waist naturally indents in your torso. Then, wrap the measuring tape around your natural waistline, keeping the tape parallel to the floor with one finger between your body and the tape for a more comfortable fit.

Measure Hip Size

Stand on a level surface with your feet together to measure your hips. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and butt, keeping the tape parallel with the floor. Easy as that!

Some signs that show your underwear doesn't fit:

One of the main signs your underwear doesn’t fit is if you notice skin bulges around your hips or love handles. If this occurs, we recommend either trying the next size up or switching to a style that provides more coverage and support.

Restricted leg movement is another sign that your underwear is too small. If the seams dig into your thighs to the point of causing marks, it might be time to give your legs some much-needed breathing room.

Some of the more obvious indications of ill-fitting underwear include constant wedgies, loose waistlines, and that uncomfortable sagging of excess material.

Should women's underwear be tight or loose?

Underwear fit should never be too tight or too loose. You’re looking for that treasure when a pair enables comfort and movement but still gives you all the coverage and support you desire.

How to tell if underwear is too small?

If you’re feeling restricted by your underwear, they gotta go. If it leaves marks on your skin after you take them off, they gotta go. If your underwear makes the skin around your hips bulge, they must go! Try a size up and see how you feel.

How to tell if your underwear is too big?

Getting wedgies? What about a loose waistline that you constantly have to adjust or sag in your booty area? Yeah, your underwear might be too big. Try going down a size or two.

Should you size up or size down women's underwear?

When underwear fits appropriately, in most cases, it should feel like you’re wearing nothing at all. They should lie smoothly under your clothes, and the waistband should be flat against your skin. Bearing this in mind, you shouldn’t be sizing up or down but instead trying to find the pair that feels like a second skin.

Does underwear fabric impact fit?

Much like with clothing, underwear fabric significantly impacts overall fitness.

Fit Issues? We Got Answers

My Straps Are Slipping

It might seem obvious, but tighten the straps using the adjusters. If your straps continue slipping, we recommend going down one band size.

My Straps Are Digging In

Loosen your straps using the adjusters. We recommend going down a band size if they are still digging in. If the problem continues, you may need to go up one cup size.

I Have Double Boob

All you need to do is go up a cup size or choose a bra style that provides more coverage.

I Have Under Boob

Adjust your band to a tighter hook, or try going down a band size. If the problem persists, you may need to go up a cup size.

My Band Sits Too Low

Adjust your straps to make sure they are tight enough. If your band still rides low, ensure it is on the tightest hook. If the problem persists after that, you need to get a smaller band size.

My Band is Riding Up

Your band should sit straight across your back. If your band is riding up, your straps or your band might be too tight. Try adjusting your straps; if this is still happening, you may need a bigger band or cup size.

My Cup is Gapping

This is a super common problem, and sometimes all you need to do is tighten your straps. If the problem continues, try going down a cup size.

Maternity Bra Size Guide

Properly fitting maternity and nursing bras are crucial for accommodating your changing body during and after pregnancy. These bras offer support, helping to maintain breast shape and improve back posture. It's important to choose bras made from gentle materials, as your breast skin becomes more sensitive at this time. Investing in high-quality nursing bras ensures comfort and support as your breast size varies.

It's advisable to get professionally measured and fitted for a bra at different stages of your pregnancy, typically around weeks 12 - 14 and then again at week 28. To predict your nursing bra size, measure at week 28 and consider adding one or two cup sizes.

However, it's highly recommended to have another fitting four weeks post-birth to find the most suitable nursing bra for your post-lactation size.

Maternity Panty Size Guide

Maternity panties are an essential part of your wardrobe during and after pregnancy. They are specifically designed to adapt to your changing body, offering comfort and support where it's needed most. Unlike regular underwear, maternity panties are made with breathable & stretchable fabrics to accommodate your growing belly and provide gentle support without constricting.

For optimal comfort, look for panties with low waistbands that sit below the belly, ease umbilical breathing and are delivery and c-section friendly with mid-rise waistband in the back for support. This flexibility is key for adapting to your body as it changes throughout your pregnancy and postpartum period.

It's also important to consider the size and fit of your maternity panties. They should fit snugly but not too tightly, and it's advisable to choose sizes that can accommodate your changing body. You might find that you need to go up a size or two as your pregnancy progresses.

For Maternity Comfort Panty

Straps

Your straps should feel secure but comfortable on your shoulders, they should not dig in or slip off.

Cups

Make sure your breasts fit comfortably within the cups, with no overflowing or cup gaping.

Center Front

The centre point on the front of your bra should sit flat on your chest. It should not dig in or sit elevated above your chest but rather comfortably on top.

Band

Your band should sit comfortably running straight around and flat on the body.

Waistband

Ideally, the waistband should be soft & stretchable and fit comfortably under your belly, with generous elastics. It shouldn't dig into your skin or feel restrictive.

Leg Openings

Ensure leg openings don't dig into your thighs or restrict movement, without any chafing or discomfort; high cut and hipster-like wings are recommended.

Fabric

Look for materials that are soft and have a bit of elastane infused and offer flexibility to accommodate your growing body while maintaining their shape.

Gusset

The gusset should be made from breathable, moisture-wicking materials to keep you dry and comfortable; and should be wide for additional comfort & coverage, reducing any risk of irritation.
