The Mellow™ Tee was made to actually hold up. The fabric is 52% combed cotton and 48% tencel MicroModal® — which sounds technical, but what it means in practice is: smoother than regular cotton, light enough to not feel like you're wearing anything, substantial enough to not feel like you're wearing nothing.

We pre-wash every panel before stitching, so the fit you see is the fit you keep. The neck rib has a little spandex in it — it snaps back, every time. And the cut has extra room at the hip and waist because it was graded for the way Indian bodies actually are. Available in S to 3XL.

Yes. The Tencel MicroModal® is naturally smooth, it doesn't have the rough texture that can aggravate sensitive skin. The dyes are Azo-free, with no harmful chemical compounds. If you react to synthetic fabrics, this natural-fibre blend should be fine —but everyone's skin is different.

We are using certified Tencel MicroModal® from Lenzing, made from sustainably grown beech tree pulp using a closed-loop process where water and chemicals are recycled rather than released. It's also biodegradable. Not perfect on every dimension, but genuinely more considered than standard synthetic or cotton blends. The packaging is plastic-free too, brown paper, nothing extra.

MicroModal® is a type of fabric made from Beechwood fibres. It's softer than regular cotton, smoother against the skin, and better at holding its shape after repeated washing. The version we use — Tencel™ MicroModal® — is one of the more premium variants of the fibre, made by Lenzing who is considered a global leader in production of sustainable fibers. Unlike synthetic fabrics, it breathes naturally — which matters a lot in Indian heat. In the Mellow Tee, it makes up 48% of the fabric. The other 52% is combed cotton. Together, they give you the structure of cotton with the softness of something considerably better.

A few things that aren't immediately obvious. The Tencel™ MicroModal® in the fabric blend makes it noticeably softer and more breathable than standard cotton. The panels are pre-shrunk before stitching, so it holds its shape in a way most cotton tees don't. The fabric is BIO-washed to resist pilling, and dyed with colour-fast dyes so it stays rich rather than fading to a version of itself.

No. At 165 GSM, the fabric has enough body to wear comfortably as a standalone. In lighter shades it won't show through. That said, as with any light-coloured tee, wearing a nude or white undergarment is always an option if you prefer. The fabric is opaque by design, not an afterthought.

It's unlikely. The fabric is BIO-washed before finishing — a process that removes the short, loose surface fibres that cause pilling in the first place. Wash cold and gentle, and the surface should stay smooth for a long time.

No. Every panel is pre-washed before stitching, which locks in the shape before the product is even assembled. Cold machine wash, line dry in shade, and it stays exactly as it arrived. The one thing that will cause problems: a hot wash or a dryer. Avoid those and you're fine.
